Simon brings over a decade of experience across the health and social care sector, developed within both CQC and Ofsted-regulated services. His professional background is grounded in safeguarding and supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs in residential settings, before expanding into children’s residential care.

Over the past six years at Optimum Youth Care, Simon has expanded his expertise supporting children and young people with a range of complex needs. During his time at Optimum Youth Care, Simon has progressed from frontline practice into senior leadership, culminating in his current role as Registered Manager. This progression reflects both his capability and his commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant, and child-centred care.

Simon is also a certified PRICE Instructor and has led restraint and de-escalation training for all new recruits at Optimum Youth Care since 2023, ensuring safe, consistent, and rights-based practice across the organisation.
